I was not very visible on Google. I have not updated any changes and had only a few reviews. Patients nowadays use Google to find a doctor. I was losing revenue because I could not get new "business" (patients). We updated my search on Google, the correct address appeared and we were able to put flyers in the waiting room asking patients to leave a review after seeing me. We also added a webpage with all my information and details on what services I offer. It looked more professional than just using a Facebook page. Adding my link to Recomed, meant patients could book directly without waiting for reception to answer the phone. Our cell number was also more visible. To get more reviews we sent emails to previous patients asking them to leave a review on their experience with me. A lot of reviews came in and this pushed me from one of last names in search engines to the top three. A few old patients made appointments. They said the email reminded them I was still around and they were actually looking for me. I also got a lot more feet through the door. And the reviews are still coming in. I believe in word of mouth referrals and this marketing strategy fits in my belief system, because my own patients are advocating for me.
